Born in Ulm in 1971 and raised at Swabian Alb. He studied theology, music and drama at Bayreuth University, as well as musical theater and directing from Professor Hetz Friedrich at the Hamburg University of Music and Theatre. He has worked as a director in various theaters. At the same time he studied cultural management at the Dresden Technical University and the University of Naples Federico II He taught in the field of cultural management. Today Thorsten Teubl is the Deputy Director of the Dance Department at Kassel State Theatre and as a dance drama artist. He also holds a position of Executive Director of the Dance Department of Linz State Theatre in Austria.
